City Bugs Freak Me Out

Como uma pessoa nascida e criada no campo pensei que ao vir para a cidade não teria de continuar a lidar com os bichos, mas nada me preparou para as centopeias mutantes e desnutridas de cor da cidade. A criança em mim que fugia de tudo agora chora porque já não tem o pai no quarto ao lado para dizer “eu trato”.
EN As a person born and raised in the countryside, I thought that by coming to the city I wouldn't have to continue dealing with bugs, but nothing prepared me for the mutant and malnourished looking centipedes in the city. The child in me who ran away from everything now cries because she no longer has her father in the next room to say “I’ll handle it”.
